Synopsis

Come learn from Santa Lucia about the beautiful tradition that continues to honor her in many countries around the world. We explore the ways this inspiring Saint is remembered, not only as the lovely Lucia Queen donning her crown of candles, but also for her dedication to serving and advocating for others in Sicily.

This color picture book explores the Lucia Queen tradition in Sweden and highlights practical and engaging ways to embody her inspiration all throughout the year. The beautiful original painting of Lucia by Minneapolis artist Rebecca Cedarleaf Anderson is featured throughout the book as well as many other colorful images to engage the reader.

It can be a lovely inspiring gift for yourself, your daughters, granddaughters, sisters, nieces and friends.

Also included is a simple yet powerful guided meditation that will help deepen a visceral connection with the energy of light and hope. In the audiobook version, beautiful background music provides a soothing sound immersion as Glenda reads you the story and then guides you through this meditative practice. A simple yet effective way to introduce your child to meditation as well as to Santa Lucia’s example of compassion and courage.

Whether you are looking for a spiritual meditation for kids, girls empowerment books, beautiful books about saints (and especially inspiring woman saints), or simply heartwarming spiritual gifts for kids, holiday celebration activities, or an introduction to lovely Swedish Customs and Holiday Celebrations, you will find this book to be an inspiring and beautiful gift.

I invite you to start this wonderful journey today!
