Synopsis

first came The Godfather...
then came The Sopranos...
and now comes OLD SCHOOL

Through ten years of hell in prison, old school mobster Tino Manarola never ratted on anybody. Now he's back home in 2020, ready to keep a low profile. But ever since his Outfit clout Vito Benza picked him up at the bus station, Tino keeps getting pulled into the deadly changing ways of the Chicago crime world. Vito is still old school, listening to 1960s Jazz and driving a late-model Buick. Vito raised Tino like a son in the old neighborhood, but now, he's sketchy on the details of a partnership between the Chicago Outfit and the Mexican Drug Cartel, except that it hinges on the jailhouse bond formed by Tino and the Cartel's henchman, Julio Najera. Tino's boyhood crush, Cristina Catania, has become one of the Outfit's new-age leaders. The old school Outfit hierarchy expects Tino to marry Cristina...but Julio has the beautiful Cartel assassin, Esperanza, ready to pledge Tino the loyalty of all her charms. Just when Tino senses a path for himself, a new FBI investigation threatens to crush it all.

OLD SCHOOL is a fast-paced, intriguing story that brings the reader through the full range of human emotion with unforgettable voice-driven characters. OLD SCHOOL is all the more enticing as the first volume in The Chi Town Trilogy.
