This work collects a series of essays whose themes revolve around the world of poetry and its origins in man's dreams and imagination, the aesthetic relationship of literature, themes that are part of literary criticism as a form of study and research in the analysis of the authors and their texts, the essence of their ideas and their projections.
The set of prepared essays revolve around the primary sources of poetry, dreams and imagination and their interpretation in psychoanalysis, the aesthetic principles when studying poetry, the analysis of Juan Ramón Jiménez's poetry from its object of inspiration. the sea, the appreciation of the gloomy poetry of the German poet George Trakl, the existentialist writing of Maurice Blanchot developing his themes on death and nothingness, a study of literary consciousness as an aesthetic object and the literary criticism of the classic work of Don Quixote as the beginning of the modern novel.
The development of the essays in this work has the purpose of sharing the interest in literary criticism as an aesthetic and historical form for the enhancement and rescue of the works and their authors with a particular look at their subjective analysis and interpretation, in the make criticism and meta-criticism for the enhancement of the art of beautiful letters.
