Chioma, a cute orphaned pup is is left in the custody of her stepmother when her dad passes away from COVID-19. Her stepmother Nmegbu promised to take good care of Chioma but she didn't live up to that promise and became very mean to Chioma. The Story is set in "Puppy-land" in a rich West African community in Nigeria and the characters comprises of different species of dogs from Cane Corso, to darnation, to Pit-bulls, floppy etc and it explores the rich black African culture, Music, fashion and folktales. The story teaches forgiveness, resilience, patience, tolerance and the power to overcome difficult situations.The Puppies/dogs walk on two (2) legs, are clothes in rich African fashion and designs, jewelry etc Chioma chants a song she made up herself and the reader is encouraged to join in singing.
