Synopsis

Punctual Pearly is a colorful, fun, and teachable children's book perfect for toddlers and preschoolers.

This is a true story about a little Dachshund puppy named Pearly. She has an odd but wonderful talent to know the exact time of the day, and do her own daily routine all by herself.

This book can help teach young kids the concept of time management in a fun way. It can also make them excited to do their hourly routines, learn to be independent, and to never EVER be late. This is also a good way to introduce animals in a child's life. Pearly's story can help them learn to respect animals, and teach children to take care of their own fur babies in a loving and responsible way.

Author's Notes:

This book is a super TRUE and amazing story of our dachshund fur baby Pearly. She is seriously always punctual. She has a body clock that is always on time. It's really funny and cute because she knows exactly what to do every hour of the day. My husband and I started calling her Punctual Pearly and we thought it might be a good idea for a children's book. As parents ourselves, we know that children can learn a lot from our amazing fur baby's unusual talent to be punctual.

Editor’s Notes:

This is such a cute little story, and I just know that it will be much loved! My dog seems to have her own body clock too (4pm is her tablet time and 5pm on the dot, no matter if the clocks change, is dinner time for her), so I was constantly smiling as I read through this. I think many children who have dogs (or even cats, etc.) will relate to it in the same way. It’s also teaching children not only time management, but also the time (as you go through it throughout the day), so I think there is also great educational value (as well as cuteness value) to this.
