The story was actually written over a decade ago with the little girl. Once the story had been written with only a few images drawn, she would always ask when it was going to be made into a book.

The book provides sketches that are from the author/illustrator's sketchbook and they create a heart-warming story of Michelle and her teddy.

The author/illustrator also has several other books including an educational series that covers the alphabet, numbers, shapes and so to be, colors. There are also talks of doing the Calendar.
