Synopsis

Who am I? That’s a fair question. My story begins in 2016 when I was a drunk. I was drinking a liter of vodka a day. At the time, I had been married for four years, I had twin two-year-old daughters, and I was the assistant manager at my father’s grocery store. I lived in northern Maine. I finally reached the point where I couldn’t stand to drink anymore, but I was too afraid to stop. Alcohol consumed my mind, holding me hostage every single day of my life. Then, one July night, I found out my little brother died. That was the catalyst that changed everything.

Now, I’m an author and a stay-at-home dad who moved his family to North Carolina. I haven’t had a drink in over four years, and I don’t obsess about it at all. I have a better relationship with my deceased brother now than I ever did when he was alive.

Who am I? I’m the dude that was on the edge of extinction. I’m the dude that tried something very different. I’m the dude who stopped running away from my pain and decided to face it. I’m the dude who went the psychedelic route and witnessed many miracles along the way.
