Synopsis

Eva Grey has just lost her husband. Her world, her hopes, and her dreams have all fallen apart. Needing to get away, she goes on an impromptu road trip, ending up at the only motel in a small country town. The Tomeros is a little run down, and some parts of it are stuck firmly in the past - there's no tv, no internet, and very sketchy phone reception. It offers the perfect escape from her life. What was initially meant to be an overnight visit, turns into a longer stay as Eva finds herself strangely drawn to the motel and its people, especially the cook, whom the staff and the town's inhabitants are wary of, and who carries within him a past that he too is trying to escape.
