Synopsis

This family history centres on the life of William Homer Wilkinson (1832-1916), Cabinet Maker and Brass founder, of Wolverhampton England. It describes all that can be discovered about his ancestors, and the successes and failures of his descendants, to the end of the twentieth century. This is a typical British family, with English and Scottish ancestors; artisans, business men, scholars engineers and clergy-men. Restless, clever, sometimes foolish, sometimes quite successful; forceful but basically honest and decent people. This is their story.
