The fourth book in Robert Wills's series of essays. The essays in this volume are the result of two more years of watching the passing parade from a rather comfortable vantage point. That vantage point varied from my recliner by the fireplace, in front of a large TV screen, to the Tetons in Wyoming, Poipu Beach on Kauai, an aquarium pool in Papeete, and The Cleveland Clinic. My views are colored by the advantage of financial independence, an endless supply of non-fiction publications, and 93 years of perspective that started during The Great Depression. I hope you find my ruminations both provocative and sincere, and free of any prefabricated ideology. The first three books are entitled: A View from the Hill (Volume 1); Gaining a Little Altitude (Volume 2); and Scanning the Arena (Volume 3).
