Synopsis

Brigganden—Once a thriving city, now a foul necropolis, ruled over by the arisen dead.

The fallen city threatens the neighboring lands, its demonic warlord using dark magic to slaughter all who venture near.

Nomad, a wandering swordsman from the Far East, crosses paths with Reza, the leader of an elite troop who stands against the hellish army. The dead know of their presence and hunger for more than just their flesh and blood. The very souls of Reza and her companions are at risk. Surviving the mutilating horrors of the undead occult alone proves to be more challenging than simply fulfilling their mission.

Shadow of the Arisen is the first book in a trilogy following Nomad and Reza through a world of Lovecraftian horror.
