Focusing on some of Liverpool's iconic and special buildings, Bill Booth ruminates on his childhood, days gone by, and how much of Liverpool's heritage has been lost. It's a book of contradiction as memories flood back about the good old days while people lived in poverty and hardship. The pictures represent the changes in Liverpool 5 as demolition started and communities dissipated. It is both sad and joyful to read Bill's stories and poetry.
