This book emerged based upon the dissertation work produced in fulfillment of Marcilio's Master Degree in Marketing Management at the University of Central Lancashire, Preston/UK. At the time he was awarded by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (cim.co.uk) the Prize for the best Marketing Master’s Student, becoming so the first Brazilian ever to receive such a recognition. Although the publishing of this book comes out some years after his postgraduation, its content is surprisingly actual and daring as it can provide the reader a unique approach to a critical analysis of what has been written and said about marketing throughout all these years.
