Synopsis

There are always going to be uncertain times. That is the nature of Life. So how do we find the pockets of joy among the doom? Katey Roberts, bestselling author of What Loved Told Me, shares her second collection of poetry as her commitment to be brave and dedicate her life to finding happiness among all the mess, to honour the pain, and to take the risk at love over fear. Join her in this dreadful, joyful, beautiful, excruciating, and uncomfortable nature of being happy – knowing that it will most definitely end! ABOUT THE AUTHORKatey Roberts lives in Manchester and teaches Reiki, Kundalini yoga, meditation, and self-empowerment courses. She also does Admin part-time in an Accountancy Firm, where she tries (and fails) to be normal. She is a dedicated Connection Seeker and Truth Teller and wants people to feel less alone with their struggle of choosing Joy and Love – despite their internal MCV (Mean Chatty Voice). Katey runs regular online poetry creative writing courses based on the method she used to write What Love Told Me. She is also the founder of the Connection Experiment, an online course which encourages, authenticity, belonging and community by bringing small groups together who are able to tell the truth so that we realise we are not ‘the only one’ who sometimes feels weird or not enough.
