Synopsis

It seems we've somehow ended up (without express intent)
with several different versions of our story to present;
this first one's quite conventional, a standard sort of book,
with words and pictures waiting here with hopes you'll take a look;
the others are essentially the same within their pages,
all versions putting forth - perhaps - a story for the ages:

if you're a fan of Beatrix, you might find this akin,
considering the content that is resident within;
there's more to this than we can tell in such a small location,
but nonetheless we'll try to give you useful information:

there's walking talking animals, and mysteries, and curses,
all managed through the medium of (mostly) rhyming verses;
they're partnered here with poetry and (hopefully) hilarity
- it's not quite Peter Rabbit, though it shares some similarity

...and if that isn't quite enough, there's magik, muck, and mirth,
occurring on a planet quite like yours, but known as Uurth.

With all of that declared, it seems for now we must depart,
with wishes that you'll find good entertainment in our art;
and likewise, here we're hoping that this meagre scrap of rhyme
will help convince your instincts that our tale is worth your time...
