Robert Turner thinks he’s happy in his marriage and his life. Okay, he might have to work at things a little with his wife, Claire – to attempt to balance the commitments of their home life with his commitments at work and at the gym, where he is good enough to box at professional level – but, on the whole, he is happy. And then strange things begin to happen! Claire’s behaviour starts to concern him; arguments become frequent. She nearly has his dog put down! They work through their problems together and all seems well, but then, from out of nowhere, a truck ploughs into him when he is driving and he is nearly killed!
