Synopsis

Seeing friends and family can be fun, but when it comes to kissing, Jason is DONE!

Six-year-old Jason has a very big family, with lots of friends…and friends of friends!

But Jason doesn’t feel comfortable being kissed by everyone. Sometimes it’s awkward, sometimes it’s gross, and sometimes it just makes him feel…yuck.

Unsure of how to refuse the adults’ greetings, Jason comes up with a creative way to honour his own feelings politely and firmly.

Young readers will enjoy this delightfully illustrated rhyming story that raises important questions about personal boundaries. Through Jason’s experience, parents and caregivers can discuss a tricky social issue and help their children to set healthy boundaries to protect themselves.

It is about teaching kids how to politely refuse kisses when they feel uncomfortable. This is taught via a child who feels uncomfortable with kisses when his big family meets and greets him with kisses. Pictures in the book nicely explains about the expressions of that little boy. Kids can well relate this to their own lives. All in all it is good learning and fun reading. I would recommend this book.- Amazon Customer United states- Harjinder Singh5.0 out of 5 stars - Tackles a very tricky (no pun intended) and real issue within the current climateOver the years our society has formed many norms that are part of our daily culture. One such innocent norm is giving a simple kiss on the cheeks to our young nephews, nieces, our sons or daughters of our friends and family. But have you ever stopped to think, how the other person feels? The book looks at this from the receiver's perspective.- Amazon Customer Australia - ASHGreat read, and a mind changer.Beautifulllllyy illustrated and very gud presentation of the concept.
”The sticky tricky Kisses” is an inspiring, motivational, fun rhyming storybook.Which focusses on the early sensitization of children as well as the parents about the personal boundaries. As a mother, I would not like to watch third person kissing on my kids face. As a doctor, I know how devastating it can be the effect of the diseases caused by kissing. And Corona is prevailing everywhere. We as parents only have to take care of our child. I recommend all parents to read this book. And help your child learn about how to maintain personal boundaries. Great job 👍👏- Amazon Customer India.- SepalThe sticky tricky kisses is interesting and intriguing rhyming book
