Synopsis

In writing this book we aimed to put together a short but comprehensive collection of problems and exercises in the general domains of algorithms and theory of computation. We insisted on keeping the exposition of theory at a minimum, while still providing a concrete base for the exercises that are put forward. Lastly, we wanted to include hints or solutions to a large number of these exercises.
