Synopsis

This is a collection of poems that I wrote over the years of falling in love, getting broken, losing myself and then learning that loving yourself comes when you decide it’s time to heal. I decided to start with the breaking because, for as long as I can remember, I have loved someone and found myself in them. So before I go into the loving or the healing, I wanted to go into the breaking. I went back to the breaking after I was healing and that’s okay sometimes it gets hard again, that doesn’t mean you are not doing better.The loving phase for me was the hardest part to write, it took a lot of imagination and understanding of what kind of love I want and deserve to be able to write to my future him.This is for all the girls who ever felt broken or unloved, let it all out and decided to be their own person.Sometimes it’s okay to break.
