Synopsis

Michelle is a twelve-year-old girl staying with her uncle for the summer holidays.

Rummaging in her uncle’s study, Michelle discovers a key. The key opens a doorway into another world where she meets and befriends a unicorn, a fairy and an ogre.

All is not well in this world since an evil queen holds sway over everyone by controlling the supply of fairy dust. Without fairy dust, the fae can do nothing to stop her.

An army of flamingos carries out the queen’s biddings. They do this without mercy.

There are dragon’s in this world, and perhaps they can help? But first, Michelle has to contend with being a human girl, and humans are not welcome.
