Synopsis

With inspiration taken from both personal memories and current affairs, the poems within A Small Book of Verse are expressions of lived experience. Balancing thoughtful reflection with a rich imagination, Gillian Hart showcases her personality and natural wit throughout her debut collection. **All profits raised from sales of A Small Book of Verse will be donated to the Michael Sobell Hospice Charity** -- Gillian first discovered her talent when she joined a poetry society about 15 years ago. She used to enjoy painting but with weakening vision decided to focus on writing instead, and she hasn’t stopped since. The only problem was that she started to think in rhyme, which was very inconvenient! Gillian has committed every poem she has written to memory and enjoys reciting them for her family and friends.
