This is a book with no definitive ending. A tale inspired by true events over a period of time starting in 2010 and continuing through to 2021. It is a tale of five cool cats from their semi feral and feral births as kittens into their adulthood and seen through the eyes of the couple who adopted them (or as they claim “Simply looking after them”). And, the cats themselves. The story commences in rural Portugal on the Atlantic coast and gives the reader a brief insight into aspects of life in this part of Iberia. Later in the story the tale moves to Southern England at the time of Brexit and Coronavirus. It is the writer’s first book written in a manner that maintains an unpolished style that’s designed to appeal to those who adore cats and those who don’t! The writer was for some 55 years a “Cat Hater”. These five cool cats turned him into an unashamed “Cat Lover”.
