The title of the book indicates that the main theme is "wisdom". Indeed, in the first part, the author emphasizes the importance of Wisdom as the path to righteousness and life (cf. Wisdom 1:1-6:21). In the central part of the book, there is a description of Wisdom's origin and nature (cf. Wisdom 6:22-9:18); in the last part, the author recalls Wisdom's action in history (cf. Wisdom 10-19).
