This 90-day nightly prayer book is written expressly to inspire new, or new-in-the-faith Christian parents. It is full of wisdom teaching us to love God’s Word, to write it on our hearts and to write it on the palms of our hands as suggested by Psalm 119. Repetition is key to learning God’s laws so when your children are grown, they will not forget it because they have repeated it many times. This is crucial for your children so when they are away from you and afraid, worried, or concerned, they have the comfort of the Word of God to rely on.

 

Scriptures are from the King James Bible and the prayers are written for mom and dad to pray together over the womb, aloud, and with hands on the pregnant belly, developing a further connection in prayer between yourselves, baby, and the Lord. The second prayer is for the newborn to two years of age child.

 

As you speak blessings, abundance, life, and thankfulness over your child, whether male or female, let everything that has breath praise the Lord. These “arrow prayers” go straight to God’s heart on behalf of your child.

 

 

It is with the utmost hope and love, I write these prayers to encourage a routine kids will look forward to each night as it will train them up in the way they should go... to follow God all of their lives. We pray together in repetition to forge the bridge of safety of God’s Word.

 

 

Gloria Huntington is a grandmother whose grandchildren lived too far away to help tuck into bed each night, as she did with her own. She is a fervent prayer warrior for them to this day, as they are all now grown.

 

Gloria has been a born-again Christian since 1982. She has been blessed with a full life, complete with most importantly, her time with God, a loving family, and her precious animals.
