Synopsis

Since the Middle Ages, hundreds of Spontaneous Human Combustion or SHC cases have been reported throughout the World. The most notorious case is that of Mary Reeser, a 67 year old widow,, from St. Petersburg. Resser spent the evening of 1 July 1951 having visits from her son and a neighbor. When they left her, everything seems to be normal in her appartment. However, the next day she was found almost incinerated. At the scene, there was no sign of a break-in or burglary or any other outside force in the apartment. The police estimated that a fire of 3,000 degrees was needed to burn a human body for several hours in order to consume it. But a fire like that would burned the entire building down. How this could happened? Possible explanations ranged from ball lightning, UFO, Paranormal Activity to explosives. Finally, St. Petersburg Police Departmen asked the Men In Black (MIB), aka:FBI, for help. However, 70 years later since Reeser’s mysterious death, up to this day, no one knows for sure what happened. We may never have the answers. This title is an authentic reproduction of the original Reeser's FBI File, and other articles related to the phenomena of SHC printed text in shades of gray. IMPORTANT, despite the fact that we have attempted to accurately maintain the integrity of the original work, the present reproduction has missing and blurred pages, poor pictures and FBI censorship's pencil markings from the original scanned copy. Many of the original FBI documents pages are shadowy, and faint. Withhold information are generally marked with white boxes where something should have been in the file that is considered by the Bureau censor “sensitive”. In other cases, the information has been blacking. ILLEGIBLE PAGES HAVE A NOTE. Because this material is culturally important, we have made available as part of our commitment to protect, preserve and promote knowledge in the world.
