Synopsis

The Salem witch trials were an unfortunate time for all, except for two enterprising sea captains. “What if we used witches to our advantage in the war?” Brilliant thought, yes, but these two captains are on opposite sides of the war.

Henri Dashe, a French privateer (a filthy pirate by some accounts) stumbles upon the idea first, and Captain Daniel Rogers, an agent of covert operations for King William, discovers Henri’s scheme and tries to stop him.

The two engage in a game of cat and mouse, chasing one another all over the northeastern seaboard, only to discover that their conflict is overshadowed by something far more sinister.
