Synopsis

Unfortunately, someone keels over dead in the free-cheese section of Fit Foods, and that opens the door to murder. That open door leads Gus right into the world of the occult. Gus suddenly has an oracle, a thug, a druid, an aeon, a Freemason, a member of the Majestic Twelve, and a warrior of the Krypteia to deal with. One of them poisoned a man in order to summon a demon just in time for Halloween, but which one? He’d find out more quickly if they’d stop killing each other in rather inhuman ways. And as if a collection of occult nutters wasn’t enough to deal with, Gus also has to deal with chain-smoking Mexican mobsters, a grinch-like pastor, a death row dog, and a Shakespearian play.
