Synopsis

In the home she was a role model, businesswoman, wife, and loving mother. In the streets she was a savage. After the death of a husband who was the biggest drug dealer and humanitarian in the state’s history, a widow is forced to deal with running a larger- than- life drug empire, while maintaining the public persona of a woman making a difference. In view of the public she’s an angel. Behind closed doors the devil comes out to play. On her chaotic journey Sheeba deals with two faced murderers, backstabbers with friendly faces, money hungry men trying to take her throne, and the untarnished children who see their mother as a no-nonsense queen. Will Sheeba exit this dangerous lifestyle free of scars and pain? What happens when her children find out? Are they placed at risk? What happens when your friends look like your enemies and your enemies look like your friends? Can another man replace her husband? Where would she meet him? What is happiness in an environment based on murder, death, and self- destruction? Can she find it? The author is quoted as saying, “I wanted to write a unique character who was like a cross between Claire Huxtable and Foxy Brown, or someone who was like a female Nino Brown mixed with Malcolm X. Someone who did right by their people in one half of their lives while destroying them in the other. I haven’t seen a character like that on the page. If you’ve never read a book by me, this is the place to start. It’s going to be an epic series.”Half Sista, Half Savage is an entertaining look into a sista representing God and the devil in the same design. A must read!!!
