Ruth Boydell first sailed into adventure at seventeen years of age, embarking on a sailboat voyage halfway around the world. She eventually found a small boat of her own and voyaged halfway round the globe a second time. Ruth continued her adventure in Newcastle NSW Australia, teaching sailing, seamanship, and navigation. Now in her sixties, she helps others plan and navigate the end of life as a death doula and educator.
