Synopsis

If man could create a god and have it do his bidding, what would be the result? Could Jesus of Nazareth be recreated? Serapis Golden was brought to life at the Reistenberg Genetic Institute for the purpose of accomplishing what no man had done in 2,000 years: to bring peace and prosperity to all the world.
But when Golden decides to exercise his god-like power to reduce the existing world to ashes before establishing a new Garden of Eden, chaos and conflict become his tools of creation. American freelance stringer Daniel McCord finds himself swept up in events and made part of the opposition undertaking the dangerous mission of exposing the manufactured deity. The resistance struggling to survive includes a pretty English bioscientist, a Canadian man of secrets impossible to trust, and heavily-armed squads of Knights Templar commandos.
The fate of humanity depend on the success of the unlikely team. Can they uncover the truth whether Serapis Golden is god or man? Will any of them live long enough to prove it?
