Synopsis

In 2020, in the framework of a pandemic that all humanity has experienced with great regret, as part of the activities of the International Forum of Creativity and Humanity (IFCH), Morocco headquarters, under the lifetime presidency of Dr. Amb. Aziz Mountassir, I published the first volume of this series of Anthologies entitled: “Poetic Voices of the World, vol. II “. In the first volume I brought together forty-three poets. In my role as Cultural Director of the IFCH it seems very important to continue creating ties and bridges that unite us through art and literature, especially now that technology and the digital age are valuable instruments to carry out this multicultural exchange that It is necessary in the work of a project of brotherhood, union and solidarity that allows us to continue co-creating with love a life of harmony and peace. Although poetry is born from silence and from the soul, through its creation, its beauty and its message, it becomes a living fire that is capable of spreading and igniting and enlightening the hearts of those who read its verses since poetry creates bonds between the poet and the reader uniting emotions and feelings. The poet invokes and summons the forces and laws of the universe through the magic of words, that is why the poet is called the magician of the world; magic is mystery and poetry is also mystery through words and it is with this magic and mystery that it establishes a pact with life and the philosophy of living. Thus, the poet recreates a new world from his own imagination in that cosmic process of which we are part of this universe. The poet has been the first human being who has been able to know and understand the world not only with the physical senses like anyone else, but also uses the senses of the soul to enter realities that are beyond the visible, and that it is possible that see them before others, that’s why we can understand the French poet and philosopher Gaston Bachelard when he said: “The world is beautiful before it is true” “The world is admired before it is verified” This Poetic Anthology brings together poets who share with us their magnificent poems in the English language and that through this book will remain forever as a footprint, message of solidarity and echo for the whole world.
