Synopsis

Book 2 of the Paris Knight trilogy picks up the adventure in the aftermath of the death of Paris' father - Gregory Knight.
As the story continues, Paris finds himself in the middle of a terrible fight with two other boys he met while vacationing on Mackinac Island.
As a fugitive on the run he is suddenly transported 8 years into the future where he meets up with an exiled and somewhat eccentric billionaire and scientist - Jonathan (Jack) Steele.
Together Paris and Jack must find their way back to Paris' home in Miami, Florida and deep underground to a secret laboratory of Jack's creation.
Paris and Jack are determined to unlock the mysterious powers of the black crystals and find a way to get Paris back to 2017 and back to a time where Paris can reverse the course of events and prevent his father's death.
In doing so he learns that he must travel back to several events in time to unravel various pieces of information that he needs to solve this puzzle.
Paris is first thrown into the midst of World War I where he serves as a fighter pilot high above the trenches and meets up with his great grandfather Remington.
Then Paris finds himself venturing to the Canadian Yukon where it becomes a fight for survival at the height of the Klondike Goldrush.
