Mike Dougherty is a writer and the author of the novel Como Flats. This is his first children's book which he wanted to write for his grandchildren. He lives in the South Como area of St. Paul, Minnesota with his wife Ann, where they raised their two daughters and many pets, including Callie, a calico cat.
