Synopsis

Grizz knew that Brooklyn was too good for him. He had proven that every time he left her because he didn’t want to screw up her life any more than he already had. They had been through a lifetime together already, and now, she was standing on the porch to his cabin, asking him for help. It felt like a lifetime ago that he had left the city to move up to his cabin in the Catskills, taking her heart with him. He’d show up in NYC now and again, to beg her to come live with him up on his mountain, but that wasn’t a move she was ready to make. She wouldn’t give up her job; she loved being a lawyer, even if it did put her in danger sometimes. When she found herself in trouble, her only thought was to get to Grizz. She knew that he’d protect her, even if it meant showing up to the one place she swore she’d never step foot again—his cabin.
