Regardless, if you are acting in love, forgiveness, bitterness, cold heartedness, happiness, joy, sorrow, or anger. Your actions will affect the lives of those you lead.

This manual was written and developed throughout many years at The Gathering @ Corona, the pilot church for a present day reformation. There is a call from the heart of God for the Body of Christ to operate in the authority and fullness of His power, and there must be a response and reforming of what we know as “church.” This must start with leaders, the men and women of God called to shepherd, develop, and equip believers. It is not through the leadership of singularity, but through the power of plurality that we will finally begin to operate as one. We have left references to The Gathering throughout the entirety of this manual, however we invite you to utilize it for your own leadership teams regardless of ministry title, church name, or denomination. The truths God revealed to Ken through diligent study of the Word are universal; they can and should be liberally applied.

This book contains the leadership teachings of Ken Peters, that he developed through study over the course of 35 years in ministry. In 2017, Ken compiled his teachings for this book in while establishing a fivefold leadership team with authority that rests in the plurality of leaders at The Gathering@ Corona Church. After Ken’s passing, I felt a renewed passion to follow the vision that had been set before me: “To Do What God Desires, and To Accomplish it in HIS Greatness!” In obedience to this statement, I felt led to publish this leadership manual, and to continue on with the vision placed within my husband’s heart.

I was given a choice to continue the Vision the Lord gave Ken and I for The Gathering Network of Churches. Through prayer and a desire to help leaders fulfill their calling on their lives, I felt the urgency for this leadership book to be released to help develop leaders and guide them through the struggles that take place in ministry.

Ken gleaned from many leaders throughout his life, as well as his own personal experiences as a leader and pastor. My prayer for you is that you are able to glean from his studies of God’s Word and are enriched by the revelation released through these pages. Ken is now peering down from heaven, cheering us on to finish the course set before us.
