There are many cybersecurity books which will teach you about security concepts, how to write a policy, how to design a network diagram, what regulations apply, or how to break into a bank and steal all the money (with permission of course)
But we felt like there wasn't really much out there that delved into the non-technical parts of the job: what it actually means to just be a professional and the challenges that accompany it.
After all, cybersecurity is a lot more than knowing how to run Wireshark, although, we will say it's incredibly useful.
No, this is a book about being a security person, a well rounded one. Hopefully you can avoid some of the problems many professionals face, and if not, we sincerely hope you may be ever so slightly better equipped to deal with any problems that come along the way.
