BOOK 1
Increasing one’s vocabulary is key in learning a new language. This program uses education hacks to help the student easily and efficiently build their German vocabulary in a fun way. As part of an 8-book system, the student will be working their way towards adding 1000 words to their German word bank. Knowing key words helps the student move forward in their current German program more quickly. The program uses educational methods, tricks, and theories such as:

There are 22 crossword puzzles included in Book One, with directions on how to use the program and how to design it to the needs of the individual student. Included are motivational tools such as games, tests to increase learning and to track progress, and scoring suggestions along with pages for recording scores.

In Book One, students will be learning over 100 basic German words, including the numbers 0-10, colors, pronouns, and definitions to words such as:

mother/father/son/daughter/sister/brother, bread, butter, cheese, cake, milk, water, juice, good, big, small, car, toy, ball, house, door, window, bed, to come, to go, to buy, to help, hello/goodbye, old/young, warm/cold, girl/boy, various rooms in a house and animals, very, only, maybe …and many more

The 8-book series is designed to complement a 1-4 year German curriculum. Each book can be completed in one month or one semester. Books can also be completed over the summer, in between school years, to help retain the language in an entertaining way and giving the student an advantage when entering the new school year.
