Most people would probably agree that our basic psychological framework represents our physical human identity and nature. But when attempting to integrate the spiritual or religious aspects beyond the material, the perceptions are less clear. It is evident that the practice of evaluating transcendent phenomena does not adapt well to the scientifically based foundation of psychology.
In this book, we are addressing psychological frameworks as a general orientation as opposed to an academic viewpoint. We identify our human nature and Being as also including the transcendent aspects which are much harder to document. After reviewing the evolutionary stages of psychology throughout the past, we introduce concepts of an inner realm dimensionality (past and present) that explain the philosophies of a fuller spectrum and integration of the components of all inner and outer life.
