Lawrence’s writing takes you on an epic journey from start to finish. His style is distinctive, individual and idiosyncratic. I adore the sui generis of his unique genre. Whilst compiling his work I caught sight of Tolkien, Alasdair Gray, Buddhism; wisps of Stephen Hawking and Blake; flavours of Greek Mythology, Faust and karma. But mostly I absorbed Lawrence. I defy you not to be inspired after reading his poetry.
