Synopsis

A trilogy on the Life of Elijah the Prophet as seen in the books of 1st and 2nd Kings in the Bible. This story is in no way an attempt to alter or even try to improve on God's word.
Many years ago as I sat listening to a sermon about Elijah I was drawn to the character of the widow and what her story must have been. How did she come to such a place of desperation.
As I began to develop that thought many more 'what if's' entered my mind. In The Bible God gives us the story that is important for us to understand but behind the scenes (between the lines) there was much more going on as there always is.
Those thoughts started my journey to write a story, completely fictional except for the Biblical accounts, about the characters that may have been involved in that story that we will never know.
I first wrote this story in 1995 but it has take me this long to get it published. Thank God for Amazon because without an outlet like this authors like me would never see our writing in print.
