Synopsis
THE HORRIFIC CASE OF THE MAD CHOPPER MURDERER
The year was 1987, and a 59-year-old man was terrified inside a trailer house in Rodeo, California, surrounded by at least a dozen police officers hastily preparing to take him out of town while cramming themselves into bulletproof vests. Lawrence Singleton was an ex-convict who the government was trying desperately to reintegrate but the neighborhood was having none of it. Mothers, fathers, and watchful neighbors were actually after Lawrence Singleton, and they wouldn't give up until he was as far away from the neighborhood as the West was from the East. Hell, some of the wealthier citizens were prepared to pay for Mr. Singleton's one-way flight to Cuba or the Congo.
