Synopsis

Selfie Stick addresses the modern-day social media phenomenon, primarily focusing on the popularity of large family Vlogging.

Selfie Stick explores the detrimental effects of continuous intrusion into the life of Edith as she comes of age within her large family consisting of 11 brothers.

Edith must wrestle with negative judgements within her daily life at school and outwardly from the anonymous audience that watches her dad’s Vlogs.

The Trolls freely add their opinions in the comments section. Mostly harsh and challenging to read.

All this while she battles with the onset of her teenage years and the myriad of new emotions.

Edith feels there is nowhere to hide until there is somewhere, and she discovers, by chance, the secret cave and the most gorgeous, friendly boy who comes to her rescue.

With a new friend, Edith begins to find her strength and discover what it feels like to be liked and listened to. Edith’s life takes a positive turn; she feels like she has found love and acceptance, but in life, things are not always as they seem…
