This is a sweet little story about friendship and unexpected life events that are difficult for children. The book is a story of loss and how children may feel and react to the death of a loved one. It is not an easy story to tell but with the aid of this story /poem along with these illustrations a child may feel hope of life beyond our world. The story gently speaks of heaven and where hope may lie for eternal life. I hope that this story makes all who read it smile and have that promise of everlasting life in heaven.
Dorian M.C. Morrell is originally from Long Island NY. She and her husband Jeff raised their four children in their Long Island home. His two sons and the twin girls they had together.
