Synopsis

In 2023, Ukraine and Russia fought each other to a stalemate in a devastating war of attrition. Erwin, an elderly, blind street dweller, knows of a secret, underground corridor running beneath Ukraine and Russia which would change the course of the war. Erwin convinces the Russian President to search for the Crimean Corridor, so Russia’s military can flank Ukrainian armies and hide from American satellites.

An old Nazi map from World War II, held by Fr. Mike of the Jesuit Institute for Scientific Studies (“JISS”), details the location of the Crimean Corridor. For two years, Fr. Mike has been collecting geological data to identify the entrances and exits to the Corridor. The Russian President assigns an FSB assassin squad to kidnap Fr. Mike and steal the map and data Russia needs to win the war.
From the beginning, the FSB’s operation appears cursed by one mishap after another. Major Baranov, the best covert agent in the FSB, works through every setback trying to conclude his mission.

What is the Crimean Corridor? Who is Erwin truly, as he appears much more than his exterior would suggest? Who can protect Fr. Mike and prevent the map and data from falling into the wrong hands? What can a precocious, eight-year-old girl do to stop the FSB assassin squad? Who or what could be plaguing the FSB’s covert field operations? Which side ends up with the map and the Corridor data?

The Crimean Corridor answers all these questions, and more, in a riveting, high intensity tale of intrigue, valor, and courage in an epic battle between good and evil, taking the reader from the Hill Country of Texas to the streets of Rome and back again.
