Fletcher's revision is possibly the first Young Adult version of the Carol available on the market. Fletcher's re-telling is aimed at more mature young readers who are ready to begin exploring Dickens's story in all its original complexity.

Dr Daniel K. Fletcher holds a PhD in Sociology from Keele University. He is the author of the research monograph, The Cultural Contradictions of Anti-Capitalism, published by Routledge. Alongside his work as a teaching assistant, he continues to write and research independently from Staffordshire, England.
