Synopsis

Brave. Stoic. Regal.

These are not the words used to describe the knight Sir Reginald.

Years after becoming a knight, Sir Reginald's greatest accomplishment was never achieving any great accomplishment. After a fellow knight successfully slays his third dragon, Sir Reginald's wife kicks him out of their castle until he can complete a knightly quest.

At a nearby tavern, Sir Reginald meets a mysterious stranger. The stranger offers the knight a suspiciously large sum of gold in return for acting as his personal guide and traveling companion. Sir Reginald happily takes the man's offer, but things are not all that they seem.

As the two begin their journey together, Sir Reginald discovers a world outside his privileged knighthood. He meets those without wealth, without family, and even without hope. He starts to come to terms with what it truly means to be a knight.

All the while, the mysterious stranger must fend off the bandits, mercenaries, and paladins sent by the church to stop him.

Though their journey may be long and arduous, should Sir Reginald and the mysterious stranger reach their goals, both the two men and the kingdom, will never be the same.
