Synopsis

Kindergarten Math Puzzles: Hands-On, Cut-and-Assemble Math Practice

IMPORTANT: This is NOT a traditional math workbook. Each puzzle is designed to be CUT APART, SOLVED, and PUT BACK TOGETHER. Scissors are required.

Make kindergarten math practice more hands-on with 28 cut-and-assemble math puzzles designed for kids ages 4, 5, 6, and 7.

Each puzzle combines math practice with a physical puzzle activity. Your child cuts apart the puzzle pieces & works through the math problems to get the answers, put the pieces together, and reveal the completed puzzle.

HOW THE PUZZLES WORK

1. CUT IT OUT!
Cut the puzzle pieces apart from the page.

2. SOLVE THE MATH!
Work through the Kindergarten math problems on the pieces.

3. PUT IT TOGETHER!
Use the answers to determine where the pieces belong and assemble the completed puzzle.

A puzzle mat is included to provide additional support and show the final square shape. Kids can use the mat for guidance or challenge themselves to complete the puzzle without it.

These activities provide an alternative to traditional worksheets while giving students meaningful practice with Kindergarten math skills.

WHY KIDS LOVE THESE MATH PUZZLES

Instead of completing one problem after another, students get to solve, cut, think, and build. The puzzle format adds a hands-on element to math practice while giving opportunities to work on problem solving, logic, and mathematical reasoning.

The puzzles can be used at home, in the classroom, for extra practice, or as an engaging alternative to traditional math worksheets.

Please note: This book contains cut-and-assemble activities. The puzzle pages are intended to be cut apart & reassembled as part of the activity. Some puzzles overlap with the 1st grade math puzzle books because certain skills are taught across multiple grade levels.

If you're looking for a way to give Kindergarten students additional practice with important math skills while adding a puzzle challenge, this collection provides 28 opportunities to practice, think, and build!
