Synopsis

I published Full Disclosure in January 2020. The feedback has amazed me, plenty of people have asked questions and reminded of incidents that I had forgotten. Those stories are included and the questions have been answered.
Further Disclosure focuses on my time with the West Midlands Police 1979-2007.

These are different and far funnier stories than those in my first book. There are more characters plus the return of some of the legends from Full Disclosure. It covers the two weddings of the century - Hugh McGowan and Yvonne Kelly which has lasted and the other between Prince Charles and Lady Di, which did not.

During my career in the West Midlands police, I worked with some incredibly talented police officers who achieved far more than I could ever have done. To avoid embarrassment, I have not named either of them. Vince Smith

“Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the wee donkey, not another bloody book.” That Irish bloke from the TV programme about bent coppers.

“If you bought my Dad’s first book, he’ll probably try to get you to buy this one as well.” - Tommy Smith

I think of Further Disclosure as Full Disclosures little brother.
