A gripping boxing novel of family, ambition, corruption, crime, and loss.
Bobby Clantinani is a talented young boxer chasing his dream of becoming a champion. But behind the bright lights of professional boxing lies a dangerous world where money, power, gambling, and corruption can matter more than the fighters themselves.
As Bobby and his family rise through the boxing world, the pressure begins to tear them apart. His father demands success at any cost, while powerful promoters and criminals see the sport as a way to make fortunes. Bobby soon discovers that the greatest danger may not be waiting inside the ring.
Then a devastating tragedy changes everything.
Overcome by grief, Bobby struggles to understand what happened to the people he loves. At the same time, investigators begin uncovering possible corruption surrounding professional boxing and a controversial championship fight.
Caught between loyalty, truth, and survival, Bobby must decide how far he is willing to go to confront the people behind the darkness.
When the Sunlight Goes Dark takes readers behind the scenes of professional boxing and into a world of family conflict, crime, suspense, betrayal, and redemption. It is a powerful story about the human cost of ambition and what happens when the pursuit of money and glory comes at the expense of the people we love.
Perfect for readers who enjoy boxing fiction, sports crime novels, family dramas, suspense, and stories about the darker side of professional sports.
