Synopsis

Full colour paperback

The monument erected to the memory of William Shakespeare at Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon, conceals fascinating, hidden clues about the occult influences on his life and work. What has the so-called "23-Enigma" to do with Shakespeare?

The monument allegorises the dual alchemical forces of dissolution and transmutation. Why should "envious death" covet Shakespeare's "quick nature"? In a brief discussion of the key masonic, Rosicrucian, and Kabbalistic themes conveyed at the moment, many of the playwright's most significant secrets are revealed.
